I wrote this song when I was in Vegas. Fortunately experiencing Vegas as the 5th wheel, it allowed me to break away and spend time alone. Recouping after a late long night, I was able write one of my favorite songs "Little Black Bird". I was sitting on the hotels' back porch when a little black bird started chirping at me which was less like a "pretty chirp" song and more like a "haha, Im laughing at you" song. So I came to the conclusion that this little black bird, that sat in the tree the whole time I wrote this song, was a matter of fact, laughing at me rather that singing with me. I was then inspired and wrote the song titled "Little Black Bird". Relating the bird laughing to my current situation (being the 5th wheel in Vegas as a single 22 year old) that little bird did more that he/she will ever know!!! Thank you Vegas bird!
