    Jes WinterGetting her first journal at the age of 9 years old, Jes has held on to a notebook and pen ever since. As an outcome of how dedicated and determined Jes is, she taught herself guitar and incorporated her abilities to write and sing to create deep, original, and catchy music. Using personal experience and the experiences of others, It is very easy for fans to relate to her music.     KyleGrowing up listening to his fathers records, Kyle's roots were build from the bluesy rock riffs of Jimmy Page and Keith Richard. As he progress musically, his love for gritty bands like Social Distortion and Backyard Babies. Now he brings his own style of Stonesesque rock to the table with Jes Winter.

    ChrisA veteran of the local and regional music scene, Chris’s musical projects are as diverse as his influences. A new addition to the band, Chris rounds out and completes the rhythm section of the Jes Winter Band.

    Sean"Walk this way" by Aerosmith was what got Sean into r n' r in the first place. Influenced by the likes of his instructor Steve Thomas, Chad Sexton, Steve Garibaldi, and Adrian Young, Sean has built a groovy style of his own.

Biography

Armed with a pen and paper, hair raising vocals and a guitar, Jes Winter takes on society and the world with her music. Jes Winter with her down to earth personality, pizzazz, determination and eye capturing style completes the package.

Since forming the band in 2008, Jes Winter music has been played repeatedly on the regional college radio station 89.7 The River. The Jes Winter Band was selected out of thousands of bands to perform for the Mid America Music Festival and has shared the stage with national acts like Dashboard Confessional, G Love and Special Sauce, Big Head Todd and the Monsters, Pomeroy, Dirty Little Rabbits, Swizzle Tree, Capehart and many more. The bands summer of shows came to a head August 21 at their EP release party and is being followed by a full schedule of regional dates through out the fall to push the new disc. Jes Winter also earned a spot on the MAHA Music Festival after gaining more votes than over 60 artists from the nationally recognized Omaha music scene. The band is also up for a nomination for Best New Artist at the 2010 Omaha Entertainment and Art Awards.
